Absolutely beautiful proportions on this piece of WWI trench art. Crafted from a recovered brass shell, it has been sculpted into an incredible piece of period art nouveau. Nice hand-hammered details. Stands 13.5" tall with a center crest of "Feldzug, Armee, 1914-1915". So, I would presume to be Austrian. $399.00 |

Pair of Trench Art Vases, made from WWI artillery shells. One has brass handles, the other appears to be copper. Art nouveau curve to the handles contrasts nicely with the very linear form of the actual shell. Large, each standing 15" tall.

Nice Antique Pewter Teapot, by George Richardson of Providence, Rhode Island. Working there from 1818-1845.

Simply a fantastic piece! It has all of the elements that make something great: an inheritantly beautiful form with proper proportions, master craftsman fabrication, clear defined hallmarks, untouched patina, plus all of those extra little things like the Gustavian Type Coin Imprint of Carolus XIV imprint on the lid, the long sweeping etched flowers, and then that slogan "Drick Min Bror" or "Drink My Brother". Carl Gustaf Wigholm worked out of Gavle, Sweden and this piece dates all the way back to 1843. -SOLD

Nils Abraham Santesson, B. 1808 - D. 1875, was a master craftsman who worked out of Stockholm, Sweden. This piece dates to around 1849. Nice bulbous form with an impression of Oscar Sveriges, King of Norway, Sweden, Gothland, and Vendalia. Nice, untouched piece is excellent condition.

Very intricately
designed tea strainer depicting detailed tavern scenes, florals, and birds.
Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship on this, you will not be dissappointed. Has
been coupled with a small .830 fine silver bowl from Sweden for display and for
drainage. The strainer is slightly larger than 4.5" lengthwise.

An extremely well crafted set of dessert tongs. Hallmarked at .830 fine silver and are probably Swedish in origin, although I can not find any maker's marks. By the Rococo form, I would estimate these to be mid to late 19th century. Guaranteed to add a new standard of prestige to your formal dinners. Approximately 7" long. $125.00
