Here is an excellent testament to German craftsmanship.  I believe Bing manufactured this highly precise model in the early 20th century.  The mechanics all seem to be in good working order.  Beautiful tortoise shell type appliqué to base, notice how nice the casting is in the pedestal that supports the reservoir.  Overall, just a very nice toy.
